ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Igoumenitsa is a small port city surrounded by green hills. Life in the city is concentrated on the two main streets that cross it. The main street stretches along the coast. It is the third largest port in Greece. It is also worth noting the presence of beautiful mountain trails for hiking with great views. Igoumenitsa is famous for its beaches and bays with clear water and golden sand.
It is a quiet, wonderful place to study and live.
The Technological Institute of Epirus, founded in 1994, is located here. During the training, teachers place a great emphasis on subjects related to information technology, foreign languages, psychology and communication skills. The educational program is built and adapted to the programs of European universities, which allows students to work in Europe after graduation.
The main building is built in the Art Nouveau style. The classrooms of the Institute are large and bright, with multimedia screens and related electronic equipment. On its territory there are a library, computer rooms, a student restaurant, a hostel, a gym, and a student support center.
The Technological Institute of Igoumenitsa, as part of the curriculum, holds many conferences and congresses. Students organize trips to hotels and tourist complexes in Greece, where every summer students have the opportunity to work and practice.
