ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Technical University in Kosice was founded in 1952 and is currently one of the best technical universities at the national level.
The university develops scientific knowledge based on its own original research and teaches students in four scientific degrees - undergraduate (B.Sc.), master's (Mgr) and engineering (Ing), and doctoral studies (PhD).
The university consists of 9 faculties, and more than 16,000 students study here annually, approximately 13,000 of them are full-time students, the rest are part-time students. The university works closely with other European universities, organizations and industry.
The University meets the modern needs of Slovak industry and is constantly developing innovative technologies to create favorable and sustainable conditions for the future and a high quality of life for students who want to get an education in Slovakia.
