ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY

Czestochowa Polytechnic University
 
The Czestochowa Polytechnic University is a public institution and one of the oldest and largest higher education institutions in the region.
 
The Institute, with its more than 60-year history, organically fit into the structure of Czestochowa, mainly due to its pupils, who to a large extent replenish themselves with highly qualified specialists in industry and economics, and also manage the life of our city.
 
Czestochowa Polytechnic University educates its students at a high level, our graduates, and this is more than 71,000 people ready to solve new problems that the development of scientific and technological progress poses to them.
 
Almost six faculty members work at the six faculties of the Czestochowa Polytechnic Institute. All faculties have the authority to award a candidate degree (in 11 scientific disciplines), and 5 of them also have the authority to obtain a doctorate.
 
The educational institution carries out many forms of activity in international forums. Among other things, it implements joint research and didactic programs with foreign partners in the framework of projects financed mainly from the European Union.
 
University employees actively participate in world studies, presenting their achievements at foreign conferences and symposia.
 
At 6 faculties: Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering Mechanics and Computer Science, Faculty of Production Engineering and Materials Technology,
 
Today, the Faculty of Infrastructure and Environmental Protection, the Faculty of Management, is consisting of  about 8 thousand students who can choose among 100 specialties from 30 different areas of study.
 
The Czestochowa Polytechnic University is expanding its didactic offer for those who want to study in English for both foreign youth and Poles who speak foreign languages
